This wedding was a collaboration of 3 wedding belles (Jen, Emily, and Heather). Mia and Robb wanted a laid back wedding that amplified Portland as their home. The idea came about from a joke about sending portland postcards out. Then we started to think about how you could take that idea and make it modern, and fun - and all about the bride and groom (who are both artists). We went with vintage postcards for character and their amazing illustrations (purchased on ebay).
invitations were printed digitally, and then 2 color screenprint was applied over the printed postcard scans. we purchased a paper cutter with a pattern edge from a scrap book store, and the groom patiently cut all these components out. we did all the signage for the event - even the wine bottle labels!
