karen + tj

Karen and TJ got married in Millcreek Canyon, near Salt Lake City. They initially wanted a tattoo inspired design, but I went out on a limb by suggesting some ideas of my own. I thought this one really felt like them, and would communicate more of the vibe the wedding would be - they agreed!

justin + rachel's celebration

Justin and Rachel got married in Costa Rica in January, and wanted a fun invite for their stateside celebration. We used the beautiful sunset under which they got married as the inspiration, and made it feel a bit more them by crossing that with a 60s astronomy feel (he works for NASA, and she loves the star trek). Thanks again to Brian at Pork Chop for getting these printed!

caroline + dorian

The bride had a great place to start, she was using vintage green 70's glass for her floral arrangements. That and a love of the fleur de lys put us in the right place aesthetically. The function of these invites is all in the layers - each being a part of the info you will need as a guest, and the final sheet is perforated to allow the RSVP card to be removed and mailed back. We letterpressed the type and details, and screenprinted the large transparent color to nod to the glass. These were printed by Brian at Pork Chop.

annie + eric

Annie and Eric got married in Seattle at Pravda, a cool venue on Capital Hill. I always love the chance to photograph couples in urban settings- the juxtaposition of street scene and formalwear is so much fun. And this couple had so many creative details built into their day, from the bride's green shoes to the handblown glass balls that served as their altar, that i was in photography heaven!
