meredith + david

Retro z-folded floral goodness! Inspired by their love of vintage, the poppy and David's love of cooking, this design nods to cook book designs of the 60s and 70s. We fit a thank you card, note card and tag for the gift on the sheet. The back included a map of San Fran highlighting locations and info about the weekend's events.

Once again the wedding blog proved easy to customize with a banner graphic.

We made paper napking rings to hold vintage napkins and silverware.

emily + michael

Emily and Michael got married at Mount Hood Organic Farms in Hood River. The invitations carefully maintain a level of elegance and romance, while still connecting to the reclaimed wood barn that held the reception. We letterpressed the components to give them an aged and romantic feel. The grounds of the farm are wonderful and provided great support to the arrangements Emily produced. You can see the benefit in a great collaboration between floral and graphic design.

sarah + zach

Sarah and Zach moved up to Oregon from southern California, and have fallen in love with the coast here. It's dramatically different than what their friends and family are used to, so we decided to go all the way and make tourism collateral to show them all the best Cannon Beach has to offer. More photos on HVK's site.

The invite itself is stained grey wood veneer with a white screen printed graphic. The idea was to nod to an aged cedar beach cottage's sign.

kate + michael

Kate and Michael were married in Providence in September. When I got Kate's response to my bride questionnaire, she supplied a photo of her grandmother's china as a reference. The pattern is from the same era as the Biltmore Hotel (1930s), where they are getting married. I knew right then we would integrate it into the design - but it definitely became the hero.

The invitations folded closed to hold all the components inside, with the floral pattern overlayed on each piece.

We printed offset, and pulled the metallic copper out of the artwork to really make it as close to the hand painted china as possible.

sarah + zach's engagement portraits

Sarah and Zach chose Portland's Mt. Tabor as the location for their engagement portraits earlier this summer. I loved the bright pop of color from sarah's dress, and the way the trees and natural surroundings looked in the warm evening light. Fellow Wedding Belle, Jen, designed their amazing invitations which have already set the tone for what is sure to be a gorgeous beach wedding - I can't wait to photograph it!

patty + brent

Patty and Brent met in dental school, he proposed this last year before they embarked to Texas for their residencies. Their venue is a beautiful traditional mansion in downtown Dallas renovated for such functions. The bride was looking to inject a little bit of romance into the event through her invitations. We used a beautiful light grey paper to add a premium feel to the digital printing.

I know Patty to be a pretty funny girl - and I suggested they bring a bit of their humor into the experience via the RSVP postcard. She said the responses so far have been really fun.

Modern take on a Providence postcard. The Biltmore is a landmark, and the wedding venue, so they asked for something that featured the building itself.

we also used blogger to create their wedding site! it's free and works great!
